Shingle Replacement

New shingles without a full tear-off

When the deck and flashing are still sound but the shingles are done — curling at the edges, cupping, or shedding so many granules that the gutters run gritty — the covering can be replaced on its own. We will tell you plainly when that is the right call and when you are better off putting the money toward a full roof.

How It Works

1

Assess what's underneath

Shingles are the easy part. We check the deck and the flashing first, because replacing shingles over a bad deck buys you nothing.

2

Honest recommendation

Sometimes new shingles are the right answer. Sometimes they are money spent twice. We will say which one this is.

3

Written quote

A clear price for the area being covered, with the shingle line and colour written down.

4

Replace and clean up

Off with the old, on with the new, magnet run across the drive and the lawn before we leave.
